Maricopa County Allocates $1 Million to Help Homeowners in Town of Guadalupe

Home Repairs

The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors has allocated $1 million to assist homeowners in the Town of Guadalupe with essential home repairs. This funding, combined with an additional $200,000 from the Town of Guadalupe, will provide aid to at least 50 homeowners until March 2025. The repairs will encompass various aspects, including roofing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and more, focusing on enhancing safety and living conditions. Eligible homeowners must occupy their homes as their primary residence, maintain current mortgage payments and meet income criteria. The initiative aims to ensure the well-being of residents and maintain affordable housing in the Town of Guadalupe, using federal American Rescue Plan Act dollars. This collaborative effort demonstrates Maricopa County's commitment to addressing housing needs and security for its residents.
