Guadalupe residents can safely dispose unwanted household products at the Household Products Collection Center

HPCC serves residents of Guadalupe and Tempe
household waste

Household Products Collection CenterSome products (e.g., light bulbs, batteries, electronics and appliances, household cleaners, automotive products and pesticides) shouldn't be put in garbage or recycling containers because they can be hazardous to the environment and public health. Guadalupe residents can dispose of these items safely at Tempe's Household Products Collection Center (HPCC).

The HPCC is open for normal operation from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.  HPCC is closed on Zero Waste Days (ZWD), City-observed holidays and weekends following City-observed holidays.

Location:  1320 E. University Drive on the Northeast corner of University Drive and Dorsey Lane directly in front of the Tempe Fire Training Center.

HPCC serves the residents of Tempe and Guadalupe and is over 20 years old.  Tempe's HPCC was the first permanent facility built in Maricopa County specifically for the removal and proper disposal of household hazardous waste (HHW). This sustainable program helps protect the environment by eliminating items from being poured into the wastewater collection system or storm drains and thrown into the municipal solid waste stream, which uses up more landfill space.
